San Francisco Log Cabin Wedding, Lauren & Kevin
Lauren and Kevin were married at the Log Cabin in the Presidio neighborhood with fantastic views of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco. Their wedding was a very personal wedding with a focus on their friends and family.
The ceremony was outdoors, giving the guests a view of downtown San Francisco that the couple loved. A wedding with lots of human connection, the wedding party was a huge help in setting up the wedding, as well as making wildflower bouquets. The mother of the bride performed the opening prayer, followed by Lauren’s brother-in-law who officiated the ceremony. The ring bearers wore ties representing the couple’s NFL team favorites, the Steelers and the Redskins, which happen to be MY FAVORITES. Note that this was the only sports reference made by the couple, plenty more references would be stated by their friends and family.
Family portraits were a fun affair. We took lots, so much that I’ll likely dedicate a post just to the awesome experience of it. We allocated extra time to fit in as many group photos we could and I was given full liberty to focus on the guests, right up my alley! Their hopes were that I could get everyone that attended the wedding in a picture, so if you were wondering why I relentlessly followed you around with a camera, that’s why!
The reception took place inside the Log Cabin, kicked off with the couple’s first dance. Following the first dance, the dads teamed up together for a welcome speech. Thick as thieves they appeared, they had even prepared a dance. It was well received!
