Carolyn and Adam’s Wedding at the Canby Wedding Chapel

Every time I think back on this wedding, I realize how much fun it was.  When we arrived at the Canby Wedding Chapel, Carolyn had yet to arrive.  Adam, on the other hand, was all dressed and ready, having been up since very early in the morning, anxious to get the wedding started.  So, Adam’s boys took him down the street to a bar to relax, where Eric tagged along, and I stayed behind to wait for the girls to arrive.  Carolyn arrived, hair and make up done, 30 minutes before the ceremony.  Was she stressed out?  Not at all!  Her girls helped her put on her dress, and the next 25 minutes were spent relaxing upstairs with grapefruit mimosas.

After the ceremony, and the lighting of a unity candle, Eric and I did the formals.  Never had I seen so much laughing during the formals (probably due to the rowdy groomsmen).  This was followed immediately by dinner and dancing.  The crowd was fun, whether it was the lively wedding party, or, better yet, cowboy guests! The food was  yummy (Hawaiian BBQ) and the music was fantastic (definitely my taste & generation).

I told you there were cowboys! (If only you could yell out at every wedding, “Cowboys!  Dance!” and this would happen
